We bought the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat for our 1-yr-old (22 lb) twin boys and WE LOVE THEM!! They’re really padded, cushiony and roomy, which is important when they have to be stuck in it for a long car ride. They will be easy to adjust as our boys grow, and we’re thrilled that we won’t need to buy another car seat EVER. As a 3-in-1 car seat, the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat can be converted and used until the child is up to 100 lbs!
Once I figured out how to use the hooks to attach to the LATCH bolts built-in to my car (incl. in most cars built after 2002), it didn’t take long to install. I didn’t have any problems with it at all. I attached the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat with the LATCH system. I got the first latch attached pretty easily, but had to put my knee into the seat and put a little “umph” into it to attach the second latch.

Straps are super easy to adjust too in the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat. The pull strap that tightens the straps you have to be careful and make sure that you pull it straight and not toward you, which would be to the side of the seat. Straps take a sec to break in but once you do I haven’t had any problems. The armrests pull out to release & pull back in to lock into place, makes getting the twins in & out a real breeze.
The cup holder is detachable to make more room for others seated next to them. The reason the cup holder is not attached firmly is to be able to move it from side to side or remove it all together. The material of the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat is easy to clean & matches the interior of our car(if that matters), pattern also seems like it will hide stains well; if it’s not already. I would say that if you plan to remove the cover to wash it will take a few minutes, to take apart and put back together. About 10 minutes each way.
No complaints whatsoever with the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite. It has solid construction; plenty of padding; it can grow with your child, easy clean up; option rich; best of the entire price was unbelievable for a convertible car seat of this caliber. I would purchase the Safety 1st Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat over and over again.
